Clos de l’Oratoire receives 91 Points from the Wine Spectator

ogier_closdeloratoire_2007_newscenterCannon Wines is proud to announce that, yet again, Clos de l’Oratoire Rouge has received high marks from the wine press community.  The 2007 vintage has received 91 points, continuing a long trend of 90+ ratings since Cannon Wines Limited began importing Clos de l’Oratoire in 1999.

On the 2007 Rouge, Wine Spectator senior editor James Molesworth commented:

CLOS DE L’ORATOIRE DES PAPES
Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2007

“Ripe and full-bodied, with a juicy core of plum, boysenberry and fig fruit backed by cocoa, espresso and black licorice notes. A nice graphite edge helps lends just enough definition on the finish. A textbook expression of the vintage. Drink now through 2017.”

– James Molesworth
Senior Editor, Wine Spectator
