St. Joseph Les Chaillés 2005

St. Joseph, a winemaking region in the Northern Rhone is noted for its sturdy, full-bodied red wines made from the Syrah grape. The Saint Joseph vineyards lie on the right bank, opposite from the famous vineyards of Hermitage. Les Chaillés is introduced by Caves des Papes wines, where the passionate quest for making Rhône valley wines was born in the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-pape. This is a wine to be enjoyed and appreciated for the patience, tradition and know-how in its creation.

TASTING NOTES
Eye: intense crimson color, with a dark red hue.
Nose: subtle and delicate aromas of raspberry, violet and vanilla.
Palate: supple with smooth tannins.
