Ogier

Les Moirets 2007

Ogier has remained a family winery since 1859. Today it is the oldest and largest wine cellar in the historic community of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which was the summer residence of the Popes from 1309 to 1378. Now Ogier has capitalized on its special access to these unique wine-growing estates and has produced Les Moirets (meaning “shimmering”), a name derived from the vision of the Rhône looking down from the town of Roquemaure. Les Moirets expresses the power and personality of Côtes-du-Rhône and also the unique and uncompromising winemaking tradition of Ogier.

TASTING NOTES
Eye: vibrant, ruby red color.
Nose: filled with aromas of berries and cinnamon.
Palate: full-bodied with a long finish; notes of vanilla and fruit.
