This is a wine for those enjoy the robust qualities of Syrah. Cornas shows off very concentrated juice with a deep black color that is true to the varietal. This wine is to be enjoyed with grilled red meat and strong cheeses. Les Reillots is introduced by Ogier wines, where the passionate quest for making Rhône Valley wines was born in the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
TASTING NOTES
Eye: deep, dark, almost black in color.
Nose: intense bouquet of soft fruits and spices.
Palate: a bold expression of Syrah, persistent fruity aromas, (blueberry, blackberry and plum) fine and supple tannins that make this a very well-balanced wine. Very light peppery spice with cocoa accents.
