For those who enjoy the rich fruit characteristics and vibrancy of Syrah, Crozes-Hermitage is the right Rhône for you. Exploding with rasberry flavors and firecracker red hues, this is a wine to be enjoyed with many foods, especially seasoned poultry or tapas. Crozes Hermitage is produced by Ogier wines, where the passionate quest for making Rhône valley wines was born in the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
TASTING NOTES
Eye: bright red, as expected from a Syrah.
Nose: jammy on the nose, with hints of vanilla and spice.
Palate: a fruit-driven Syrah, with a very rich texture and taste of dark berries. The tannins in the wine are matured, but strong enough for further aging. Notes of cinnamon, violet and vanilla.
