Coming from the heart of the Côte Rôtie, La Serine is handcrafted with the most patient discipline. Ogier has created a very well-rounded expression of Syrah, by letting these vines ripen to the perfect point of balance. This style of Syrah is apt for those who appreciate delicate reds with bold fruit concentration. On the palate, there is an intense flavor of strawberries that is typically seen from the Côte Rôtie appellation.
TASTING NOTES
Eye: deep garnet-red color.
Nose: intense bouquet of dark fruits (strawberry, blueberry) and spice.
Palate: a delicate expression of Syrah, persistent fruity aromas (blueberry, blackberry and plum) fine and supple tannins. Well structured and long on the palate.
