The Black Wine is more than just a legend; it is a unique, black gastronomic wine from the Malbec grape, originating from the misty vineyards of the Lot Valley. Its intensity and its depth have been recognized in Europe since the 13th century.
Born in the same lands as the famed Quercy truffles, the Black Wine is also as mysterious. They share the essential symbiosis between the soil and the oak which gives them unique characteristics, rare aromas of undergrowth, musk and red fruits, their dark and distinguished black color, and their presence on the same tables for moments of pure hedonism – the same terroir, the same mystery, the same destiny.
The secret of the Black Wine of Cahors has always been closely guarded. However, with Rigal, you can discover a part of its mystery.
